Christmas is coming! Are you ready yet? I think that when we judge our readiness for Christmas, it usually makes us think straight to if we have enough presents purchased, if the menu is prepare, cards sent out, guests invited, house decorated and cleaned, etc... For myself, it's usually if I have all of the presents on my list purchased or not (I'm not done yet). But, I also like to feel the Christmas spirit inside of me, before I feel that I am 'ready'.  This is my favourite time of year! The lights, the excitement, family coming together, great food and surprises, the music, the enchantment.... the warm feeling that brims inside- joy, peace, love. I think it doesn't usually set in lately until right on christmas eve when my family goes to church together (the only time of year that we do).
So, no, I don't feel 'ready' for Christmas yet. Though, I did have a dream last night, of which I don't remember at all, and when I woke up I felt this feeling inside... Whatever it was that came to me in the night, has made me feel more positive about everything- gave me a little boost that I've needed. So, thank you to the night & all of your magic!
