Today has been a great day so far!!
Good weather simply puts me in a good mood! And let me tell ya, going from -30 to +1 is a huge jump and I LOVE IT! lol I love the birds singing, I love the sun shining so bright that I have to put my sunglasses on, I love the snow melting on the street, and the energy in the air- glorious! It reminds me of spring, with all of the themes of "new"- new leaves, new grass, new baby animals, new year, new beginnings! It's the promise and hope that a new beginning holds that is entirely exciting. Sometimes it's scary, sure, but overall- it's exciting!!
Why not make it exciting? Life is too short to be scared of every change that comes our way. When we begin to except that everything is cyclical and all rythyms in nature have ups and downs, endings and beginnings, the better off we are!
The cards this morning were about Golden Opportunities- recognizing when windows and doors open and grasping the opportunities that we are given! Sometimes, if we hesitate too much, we may loose that chance, or if we put off something too long then we 'll be forced to do it in an uncomfortable way. Also, we may have to create these opportunities for ourselves! If you have the urge within you to do something, or begin a project- then go for it! Follow your heart! The passion that is brewing within you can't lead you astray- unless you don't embrace it and fulfill it!
Also, there were cards about love- true love, undying love, and compassion. This reminds me that the sometimes dreaded day of Valentines Day is drawing near. Unfortunately its entirely commercial and creates a lot of unrealistic expectations for people and can lead to bitter disapointment when the day comes and goes without any huge expression of love (said from the voice of spending many Valentines Days alone! lol). BUT the importance is the feeling of love in the air!! It makes us feel sooo good!! And for heaven sakes I plead to anyone who is reading this- if you feel true, undying love for someone then PLEASE tell them. It's not fair to make them wonder, assume, or second guess. Please express your love for your friends, your family, your romantic partners, your pets, and the Earth too!! :)
Allow yourself to feel filled to overflowing with love, excitement, joy, bliss over life!!! It is electrifying, to say the least to let go of fear and doubt and allow these emotions to fill you up and ignite your spirit! :)
If nothing else- follow my 'daily inspire love challenge' and do something romantic FOR YOURSELF to express you love for YOU!! Buy yourself flowers, buy yourself jewellery, go and get your hair or your nails done, take a long bath with candlelight and music- treat yourself! The path to true love begins within- and loving yourself for who you are!!! :)
